MATR is a unique Behavioral Health company whose focus is each client. We like to say: "You are the program!" We add, "When a person has a problem, the answer for that problem lies within the self. Our role is to assist you in discovering your answers." We incorporate NLP and Michael Miller's Holographic Human model into our program. We teach our clients how the mind works, most particularly the conscious and subconscious and have created at least 100 techniques using the laws of the mind for the purpose of overcoming and healing.
We care! We seek to maintain contact with our clients once they leave the residential setting.
It is our desire that this blog site will assist us in remaining in contact with our former clients, their families and friends of MATR. We also welcome developing relationships with others.
My name is Linda Dimmick, an RN and co-founder of MATR. Janey Marvin is my business partner. We look forward to corresponding with you, plus sharing ideas and experiences. Welcome!
Our website is www.matrbehavioralhealth.com.

Hello i just checked my email and came across this blog, So hopefully someone reads it :) anyways its garrison and im doing great and hello to all.
Hi Stacy, Deaun and Garrison -
Thanks for checking in with us. We think of you often, speak of you, thrill at your successes and are so glad you are part of our lives.
Love, Linda and Janey
I'm not sure how to do this. But I'll try. But cancels out my unsure of doings and hopefully conscious can override try.
I enjoyed the comments and the people who are commenting.
I still love the rehab and the people I meet at it.
Sometimes, the people in recovery seem to be progressing faster than those who never used.
I know addictions are hard to overcome but forgiving the addict seems harder by some.
Maybe it's not forgiveness, maybe it's hope. I think there is plenty of hope to go around. It honestly does appear that the addict in recovery accepts the hope faster than their loved ones do.
Hopefully, we'll figure out how to do the blog and stay in touch.
Love Janey
I sat to do this an hour ago and just started it now. I'm sure I'll figure this out eventually.
We have been working on cds of our guided imagries. We are also doing dvd's of Linda and I doing our techniques. We're doing them for now so they go along with our work books. We are hoping to put together MATR groups in the St George and Salt Lake City. If you know of another area they might be needed in please let us know.
I hope you're all doing well. I enjoy hearing from you. take care and all my love Janey
